Chelsea Police Chief

Kevin Kazyak started his Law Enforcement career in 1994 with the Waterford Township Police Department as a patrol officer.  He has been involved in many different areas of police work within the Waterford Police Department, and retired in 2022 with the rank of Deputy Chief.  He teaches Active Shooter Response at the Oakland Basic Police Academy as a Firearms Instructor.  He also teaches Accident Investigation and Traffic Management at Oakland Community College.  Kevin is married and has three college-aged children.  In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, although he says he doesn’t play enough to be good!
